Reviews and Ratings
For €150 for 2 nights B&B, I would highly recommend this hotel for a wee weekend escape. The garden suites, although outside the main building, still retain the cozy charm of a traditional hotel with old-style decor including a big bed, wardrobe, and dresser.
The hotel room was conveniently located right next to the elevator and stairs, offering a spacious and comfortable stay; however, it lacked cleanliness and the staff didn't inform me about breakfast. The service was professional, but not the friendliest. The location was good, though in need of an uplift. The dining experience was only okay, with limited breakfast options. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel offers standard rooms that are very comfortable and warm, resembling a typical roadside hotel. However, the temperature was too hot, and I couldn't turn off the radiator. The service was a mix of unfriendliness and chaotic moments, with staff taking calls during check-in. On the bright side, the location was convenient for exploring Dublin by car, though eating at the hotel was uncomfortable. The dining experience was top-notch with a delicious full Irish breakfast. The facilities were well-maintained, making it a good choice for a weekend stay.
I had a pleasant stay at Finnstown House. The rooms were cosy and spacious enough, and the bed was very comfy. However, the dinner rush due to the early closure was a bit inconvenient. The service was a mixed bag, with some staff being rude and condescending, but Jackie was friendly and helpful. The location was stunning, though cleanliness could be improved. The dining experience was fine but could offer more options for guests. Overall, a comfortable stay with room for improvement.
I absolutely loved the location of this hotel, so close to everything you need, and the friendly staff made my stay delightful. The rooms were clean and cozy, though a bit chilly at times. However, the dining options left something to be desired. Overall, a good value for the price.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was in a beautiful country setting with good bus service into the City, but the rooms were not the cleanest and lacked proper furniture. The staff had moments of friendliness but could be rude at times. The dining options were decent but with a disappointing hot food selection. Overall, there is potential for improvement in various areas.
